Oxford Landing Estates

Marty’s Block collection honours our vineyard manager Marty Burnell, who has carefully tended Oxford Landing Estates like it’s his own backyard for over 36 years.

Set on the banks of South Australia’s majestic Murray River, the Oxford Landing vineyard is named after a nearby site where drovers once grazed and watered sheep. Today it’s home to a loyal flock of down-to-earth folk who take great pride in making quality wines, enjoyed the world over.

  • 2016 Marty's Block Chardonnay

White peach, apple blossom and almond meal aromas, complemented with hints of toast, vanilla and shortbread. Full flavoured yet finely structured, the Chardonnay offers a unique expression of our vineyard. Layers of flavour are developed from the finest of clones, natural fermentation and minimal handling of the wine. A finish that is polished and befitting of the man himself, best enjoyed with the finest of crustaceans, the yabbie, or if you can’t find one, try lobster bisque.

Enjoy with dukka crusted yabbies with preserved lemon yoghurt, or garlic, ginger and sesame brown rice. Viognier is a favourite of Marty’s and he often uses the vine cuttings as lures for Murray Cod.
